Nawab Guggal 80 GR
Description
Nawab Guggal 80 GR is guggal, the dried resin of the guggul tree, in an eighty gram pack. It is darker and stickier than loban and smells sharper when it hits the coal, closer to pine than to sweet smoke.
Guggal belongs to the havan rather than to the loban burner. A little goes into the fire with the samagri, and it is also burnt on its own in the evening in houses that follow the older practice. Traditional use is all this row describes; no other effect is claimed for it.
The sweeter smoke comes from loose loban from the same brand, and the havan and pooja shelf holds the samagri and the wood. Not for consumption. Store it in a closed jar away from damp, and burn a pinch at a time on charcoal or in a loban burner.
