KRG Haldi Whole are sun-dried turmeric rhizomes, hard as wood and twice as aromatic as powder once you break into them. Grinding haldi fresh is the difference between colour alone and colour with flavour.
Grind the fingers as needed for curries and spice blends, grate them into mango and lime pickles, or drop a piece into pickling brines and kadha. A finger tied in muslin also perfumes festive rice without staining every grain.
