Nawab Tukmaria Seeds are the small black basil seeds beloved across South Asia for summer drinks. Soaked in water for a few minutes they swell into soft, jelly-coated pearls with a cool crunch, the signature layer in every proper falooda.
Spoon the soaked seeds into falooda, rose sherbet, nimbu pani and milkshakes, or scatter them over kulfi and fruit bowls. During fasting months they are a familiar addition to cooling drinks at iftar.
