Description
Heera Saffron brings whole kesar threads in the classic one gram case, enough to colour and perfume dozens of dishes. Real saffron stains slowly and smells of honey and hay; these threads do both.
Soak a few strands in warm milk for ten minutes before folding into kheer, phirni, shrikhand or rasmalai, or lace the soaking milk over the top layer of biryani before dum. A little travels far; three or four strands serve a family pot.
