Nawab Red Chilli Stuffed Pickle is the bharwa lal mirch of UP and Punjab: fat red chillies packed by hand with fennel-heavy achari masala, then matured slowly in mustard oil.
One stuffed chilli is a side dish in itself, sliced over dal chawal or served whole beside stuffed parathas. The masala inside is milder than the chilli promises, which is the whole charm.
