NARPA GOND KATIRA 100 GRAM
€2,99
Narpa Gond Katira 100 GRAM is tragacanth gum in crystals, soaked before use. Same-day delivery across the Utrecht region.
Description
Narpa Gond Katira 100 GRAM is gond katira, the dried sap of a shrub, sold as hard irregular crystals. It is not the same thing as the edible gum used in laddus, though the names get mixed up constantly.
The crystals are soaked in water for several hours, where they swell many times over into a clear jelly. That jelly is stirred into falooda, sherbet and cold milk drinks through the summer months in north India and Pakistan.
Compare it against Nawab gond katira at the same weight, and see more traditional pantry ingredients for the rest. Vegetarian. Store in a cool, dry place in a sealed container away from direct sunlight. Order online at Panjab Supermarket for same-day delivery across Nieuwegein, Utrecht, Leidsche Rijn, Vleuten, Maarssen, Zeist, Bunnik, IJsselstein, Vianen, and Culemborg.
