TRS Tukmaria Seeds 100 GR is tukmaria, better known as sabja, the seed of sweet basil. It swells faster than chia and keeps a firm dark centre inside a clear jelly coat, which is what makes it visible in a drink.
Sabja is the seed in a falooda, in rooh afza sherbet and in nimbu pani through the summer, and it is drunk for its cooling effect as much as its texture. Five minutes in water is enough for it to swell completely.
