Heera Desiccated Coconut Medium 300 G is desiccated coconut at the medium grade, a short shred rather than a powder. It is the general purpose cut, and the one most recipes mean when they just say desiccated coconut.
Medium holds its shape through cooking, so it works rolled onto a ladoo, stirred through a poriyal, scattered on a cake, or toasted for a coconut chutney with real texture in it. Toast it dry for a minute and the flavour doubles.
