Category 1: Ordering and Payment

A: Browse our online shop at panjabsupermarket.com, add products to your cart, and proceed to checkout. You can order without creating an account, though registering makes future orders faster. Once your order is confirmed, we pack and deliver it the same day.

A: We accept iDEAL (the most common Dutch payment method), credit cards (Visa, Mastercard), debit cards, and cash for in-store purchases. All online payments are processed through a secure payment gateway.

A: We offer same-day delivery across the Utrecht region, including Nieuwegein, Utrecht, Houten, IJsselstein, Zeist, De Bilt, Vianen, Maarssen, Bunnik, and Bilthoven. All orders are packed and dispatched from our store at Muntplein 10, Nieuwegein.

A: Delivery costs €2.49 per order. Orders over €49 are delivered free of charge.

A: Yes. Fresh and frozen items are packed with appropriate care to maintain temperature during transit. Because we deliver same-day from our local store, your frozen parathas arrive frozen, and your paneer arrives fresh — not thawed or warm.

A: We stock over 2,700 Indian, Pakistani, and Surinamese-Hindustani grocery products across 30+ categories. This includes spices and masala, basmati rice, lentils and pulses, snacks and namkeen, frozen foods, fresh paneer, dry fruits, flour, oil and ghee, pickles, beverages, Surinamese masala and chutneys, pooja essentials, and kitchen articles. We carry trusted brands like Haldiram’s, MDH, Shan, Everest, TRS, Swad, and many more.

A: Many of our meat and frozen products are halal certified. Look for the halal certification mark on individual product pages. If you have specific questions about a product’s halal status, contact us, and we will check the packaging for you.

A: Yes, this is one of our specialities. We stock Surinamese masala, Surinamese chutneys, roti flour, and other Surinamese-Hindustani ingredients that are very difficult to find elsewhere in the Utrecht region.

A: We check expiry dates and packaging conditions on every shipment we receive. Fresh and frozen products are stored at the correct temperatures in our store. When you order online, items are packed just before delivery; they do not sit in a warehouse for days.

A: Absolutely. We stock festival essentials, including Diwali sweets and diyas, Eid groceries, Holi colours, Ramadan supplies, and pooja items. We expand our selection before major festivals, so check our Pooja and Festival category or contact us for specific items.

Category 4: Returns, Refunds, and Issues

A: Contact us within 24 hours of delivery at +31 6 20009192 with a photo of the issue. We will arrange a replacement or full refund. We take packaging and delivery quality seriously. If something arrives damaged, we want to know and fix it.
